Welcome to the JaWE project !

 

Enhydra JaWE (Java Workflow Editor) is the first open source graphical Java workflow process editor fully according to WfMC specifications supporting XPDL as its native file format and LDAP connections. It can be used to edit / view every XPDL file which conforms to WfMC specifications.

Searching for an open source workflow engine ? Have a look at Enhydra Shark ! There are also several other open source and commercial workflow engines working with JaWE !

JaWE 2.0 beta1 has been released and can be downloaded from the Objectweb Forge. See also the changelog.

March 2005: Participation in Wf-XML demo

The Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC) Working Group 4 has assembled a demonstration of products that have implemented the Wf-XML protocol.
Both JaWE and Enhydra Shark have participated in demo on 28th of February alongside some commercial engines.

28 January 2004: JaWE Web site moves to ObjectWeb.

Following the merge of the Enhydra.org and ObjectWeb Consortium communities, the JaWE Web site is now hosted by ObjectWeb. It can be reached now at jawe.objectweb.org (jawe.enhydra.org still redirects to this URL). The JaWE's development site is also hosted by the ObjectWeb Forge.

September, 2003: JaWE version 1.2 released !

We are very happy to announce the public availability of JaWE 1.2. Several enhancements were made in interpretation of XPDL specification with help from the community. Thanks ! You can download this release at the ObjectWeb Forge.
